Delaford Colts FC committee proudly welcomed all it's members, parents and players to their 38th Annual Presentation on the evening of 16th June 2018 at The Polish Club in Stoke Poges. The evening allowed the committee and managers an opportunty to recognise the efforts and achievements of every player from our youngest Mini Colts through to our oldest U14s throughout the 2017/18 season.
The evening was very well received with fanatasic attendance from every age group. Additional indivdual yearly awards were also presented for each team, with the awards ranging from from Manager's Player, Most Improved, Sportsman, Clubman and Parent's Player. The managers and coaches had the arduous task of determing which player should receive this recognition so congratulations to all those players - very well done!
It has been a great season for Delaford Colts FC with a number of events such as the Halloween Party, Development Day, our Annual Mini Soccer Tournament and the added bonus of the FA Cup visit being some of the highlighted success stories of 2018. There has been great success on the pitch too with the efforts of our coaches and players rewarded with the multiple competitve cup wins and tournament wins across various age groups, from our U7's right through to our treble winning Men's team.
This also gives us the opportunity to show our appreciation and gratitude to all the people that help make the club run as it does. Players, parents, supporters, managers, coaches and committee members all play a huge part in The Delaford Family going from strength to strength, without this undevouted contribution the club would not thrive as it does today.
Special mention to our Chairman Keith and Nina who stepped up to become the club Secretary this year and did a splendid job. They have had a busy year with lots of changes around football but they, along with the team, have taken it all in their stride, faced the challenges head on and made the year a success.
